Balance of final outcomes

Balances of final outcomes for ISAE research activities constitute the third fundamental principle of its research policy.

These balances are of two different natures:

  • the first relates to applicability: the ISAE conducts its research on problems primarily of interest to the aerospace environment and that of embedded systems; a considerable share of its efforts relates to research in fields based on closely related disciplines, such as the automobile sector for example,
  • the second balance is established between academic visibility for ISAE research , being based in particular on an active presence within doctoral programs, and the proximity of industrial applications via research targeted on problem issues and keeping close links with industry, the latter contributing significantly to financing growth of ISAE research activities.

Definition of these balances is the ISAE’s concern within the framework of its autonomy under tutelary authority.
